Wayne Rooney tops an audacious list of four transfer targets from Manchester United and Manchester City Barcelona are pondering making moves for.
Team-mates Juan Mata and Ander Herrera are also on the radar, as is David Silva, who players for United’s fierce rivals City.
The list has been circulated by Catalan publication SPORT, who suggest the quartet are attracting interest from the Camp Nou outfit.
It is claimed the names are being discussed by the club’s technical committee.
No figures have been mooted, but an astronomical amount of money would probably be needed if they are to secure all four signatures.
Barcelona, though, are still subject to a transfer ban, meaning they are unable to register any new players until January 2016.
