Oh dear! This stat about Liverpool's strikers is SO embarrassing...

It’s no secret Liverpool’s strikers have struggled this season, but this stat really hammers home just how poor they have been.
Astonishingly, Everton’s defenders have scored nine between them compared to Liverpool’s attackers who have only managed eight in the Premier League.
Everton’s Phil Jagielka (3), Seamus Coleman (3), Leighton Baines (2) and John Stones (1) have all had fruitful seasons in front of goal.

Daniel Sturridge (4), Ricky Lambert (2), Mario Balotelli (1) and Fabio Borini (1) have all failed to impress for the Reds this campaign – at least Sturridge has the excuse of a series of injuries.
These figures are rather embarrassing considering Sturridge and Luis Suarez banged in a combined total of 52 in the league last season
