Louis van Gaal has told Manchester United he needs to sign FOUR more
players this summer to turn the club into title challengers again.
The United boss, who has already splashed out more than £150million
on new signings since taking over at Old Trafford, has identified the
key targets he reckons the club need to sign this summer.
According to the Mirror, Van Gaal has handed executive vice-chairman
Ed Woodward a list that includes Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman,
Wolfsburg winger Kevin de Bruyne and Borussia Dortmund duo Mats Hummels
and Ilkay Gundogan.
Van Gaal has come under fire in recent weeks as United have dropped
off the pace in the race for Champions League places, with summer
signings Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao both being linked with moves
away from the club.
But defiant Van Gaal still believes he is the man to turn things
around and reckons the 20-time English champions have a bright future.
