It’s not the background they emanate from, neither is it that they don’t go to church or mosque. There is a lot more to it! Life never gives freely, what you deserve, want or wish or even need, but only what you demand of it. Phenomenal success don’t just happen by trying to succeed, you succeed better and easier by learning the principles of success and following it to the letter. Until you make a congruent decision to move towards the direction of your ideals, dreams, and aspirations, nothing in you life does. I strongly think someone needs a paradigm shift and that person might just be you. See, the refusal of a lion to eat grass regardless of the forest of the economy is not pride, the refusal of the eagle to eat anything dead is not arrogance, it’s just their nature and an understanding of it; a nature of standard. No wonder they are prided as kings of animals. They don’t take all that comes, they determine what comes into their life. Having high standards doesn’t mean you are over ambitious, it is an understanding of the fact that you are created to be a trail blazer. Having a standard does not mean you are been idealistic and unrealistic, it’s having an understanding that your reality is your own creation. You should always walk around with a mindset that only the best is good for the best I made it bold to challenge you! Let today put a full stop to the acceptance of everything life and circumstances throws at you. Wake up, rise up, and a make a demand. As regards your relationships, don’t be anything in skirt or trousers goes. The question is what do you want? Have a standard; when everybody is your friend you don’t have one. In the aspect of academics, know the grades that are unacceptable to you. Pursue excellence in all that you do and give your best everyday to life. you can’t live 40% today and hope to live the remaining 60% tomorrow. Never allow your life to be controlled by environments, the currents of life is ready to take you anywhere it will if you decide not to swim against the tide. Success is a journey and a battle between you and you alone, in all that you find yourself doing, refuse to lower your standards to accommodate those who refuse to raise theirs and never apologise for having them. If people want to be in your life, they will rise up to meet them. “ in matters of principle stand like a rock; in matters of taste swim with the current.” Men of standards are made for the top, if you resolve to set high standards in different facets of your life, we shall see at the top, and if you don’t, chances are that we may never meet.
